Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and student-focused Admissions Counsellor to guide prospective MBA aspirants through their higher education journey. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding students' career aspirations, providing personalized counseling, and supporting them throughout the admission process. This role requires strong communication skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to achieve admission targets in a dynamic educational environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel prospective students on MBA programs, specializations, and career opportunities.
  • Manage inbound and outbound inquiries through calls, emails, messages, and follow-up interactions.
  • Understand student profiles, educational backgrounds, and career goals to provide tailored guidance.
  • Assist candidates throughout the application, documentation, and admission process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students to ensure a positive admission experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and admissions in CRM systems and internal databases.
  • Follow up regularly with prospects to drive conversions and maximize admissions.
  • Achieve assigned monthly admission and enrollment targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for admitted students.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).
  • 0–3 years of experience in Admissions Counseling, Education Sales, Student Advisory, Inside Sales, or related fields.
  • Freshers with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport and effectively engage with prospective students.
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, and basic office applications is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and committed to delivering an exceptional student experience.
